Want an Everlasting Relationship?

Do you know that God loves you so much he wants to have an everlasting relationship with you?  He gives everyone an opportunity for such a relationship with Him as a FREE gift - all you have to do is accept it!

Becoming a Christian is the most important decision anyone can ever make.  What does the Bible say about becoming a Christian?

God loves you.

1 John 4:10 (NLT) "This is real love.  It is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins".

Do you desire a relationship with God?

God sent Jesus so you would not have to die for your sin.  Jesus died on the cross, He was buried and He rose from the dead.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall nor perish but have eternal life."  John 3:16 (NLT)

So...How do I establish an eternal relationship with Christ?

Its as easy as A-B-C.

A---ADMIT

Admit to God that you are in need of a relationship with Christ.  Romans 6:23 (NLT) "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."
Turn away from your way of life to Jesus.  Acts 3:19 (NLT) "Now turn from your sins and turn to God, so you can be cleansed of your sins."

B---Believe

Believe that Jesus is God's Son and is the only way to have a relationship with Christ.  Romans 3:25a (NLT) "For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God's anger against us.  We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us."

C---Confess

Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.  Romans 10:9-10 (NLT) "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved."

Is it time for you to become a Christian?

God's Holy Spirit will help you know if you are ready to become a Christian.  If it is time for you to have an eternal relationship with Christ, pray the following prayer.

Dear God:
I know I have sinned and that my sin separated me from you.  I am sorry for my sin.  I believe Jesus died on the cross for me so my sin can be forgiven.  I believe Jesus rose from the dead and is alive.  God, please forgive me.  I ask Jesus to come into my life and be my Savior and Lord.  I will obey you and live for you the rest of my life.
Thank you.
Amen

If you need further help, please find a local church and let someone know about the decision that you've made.  Please contact our church so we will know about your decision and we'll do our best to help get you on the right tract to a relationship with the Lord.
